Bengaluru: On Sunday August 29, the Bangalore Metro’s extended Purple Line on Mysuru Road was inaugurated.
Union Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri and Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai jointly inaugurated the 7.53-kilometer line here.
Nayanadahalli, R.R. Nagar, Jnanabharathi, Pattangere, Kengeri Bus Terminal, and Kengeri are the six stations on the Namma Metro Phase II line.
According to the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), 75,000 passengers would use the line every day.
