All party meet to discuss Mekedatu, Krishna water dispute soon: CM Bommai

Hubballi: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that he has planned to soon hold an all party meeting to discuss Mekedatu and Krishna Water dispute, after which approval from Centre will be sought for detailed project reports (DPR).

Speaking to mediapersons at the airport here on Sunday March 6, the CM said that apart from pursuing the case legally, the State Government will discuss the issue in the assembly. After this, a request will be made to Jalshakthi Ministry to approve the DPR, he said.

CM added that the State Government has already allocated Rs. 1,000 Crore for the Mekedatu project in the budget.
