Hubballi: As the Lok Sabha elections draw nearer, the BJP and JDS parties have leveled allegations against the Congress party. These allegations, they claim, lack substantiation and appear to be aimed at tarnishing the reputation of the Congress. Responding to these claims, Santosh Lad, the Chief Secretary, emphasized that such disputes are a common occurrence during elections.
While addressing the city’s residents, Lad urged the opposition to provide evidence to support their claims and to avoid using such statements merely for political advantage. He further emphasized that since coming into power, the Congress has actively engaged in initiatives aimed at the welfare of the public. Lad accused the opposition parties of making these allegations in an attempt to undermine the progress that has been achieved.
