Hubbali: As the tribunal has given its verdict on the water dispute of River Mahadayi, the Convenor of Kalasa-Banduri Horata Samithi Amruth Ijare has criticised the coalition government, here on Monday, December 3, for not taking accurate measures till date, in releasing adequate water.
After attending the Kalasa-Banduri protestors’ meet, he said that the Tribunal had given a verdict on the usage of 13 TMC water but the local representatives and political leaders were not bothered about it.
Amruth said that even as five months have passed by, the river canal project has been delayed.
Meanwhile, he demanded the government to provide an accurate solution by December 10.
Amruth also urged Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy to have a talk with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and convince him to implement what was discussed in the Tribunal.
He also demanded a complete farm loan waiver failing which, he warned the government of protest in front of the Suvarna Soudha in Belagavi, disrupting the winter session.
