Here is a case when aping the same landed a man in soup! An aspirant of PSI (civil) post was caught while reportedly copying using bluetooth-connected smart watch and mobile phone during a written test held here on Sunday.
BE Graduate Vineeth Nayak of Ankola, used those gadgets to copy during the examination. This new age Munna Bhai allegedly scanned the question paper using bluetooth-connected smart watch, used the mobile phone kept in his undergarment as dropbox, sent the image to his “Circuit” in Bengaluru and got the answers. Invigilators at the examination centre at KLES’ M R Sakhare English Medium School here caught him while copying, and recovered a Samsung Gear-2 smart watch, two smart phones, locket bluetooth device and ear phones from him.
“A criminal case has been booked against the arrested and remanded to judicial custody,” Rane said.
A case has been registered with the Vidyanagar Police Station and search is on for another accused Sachin Angadi of Bengaluru who tried to help Vineeth by sending him answers, Police said.
