Ballari: 68 nursing aspirants test Covid positive

Bengaluru: A total of 68 students of different States who came to Ballari to take the nursing entrance exam has┬átested positive for Covid – 19. According to sources, a total of 400 students and their parents came here on Saturday January 15.

Since the students and those who accompanied them had not received a Covid-negative certificate, the District Administration had arranged tests.

According to Covid guidelines, anyone visiting from other States must bring a test report within 72 hours. Those who attended for the admission exam, on the other hand, only had double dosage vaccination certificates.

Students and parents who tested positive were kept in quarantine. As more results are released on Wednesday January 19, the numbers are expected to rise.

On January 16, the Education Department had organised the entrance exam.
