Ballari: The presidential election of Dammuru Grama Panchayat held peacefully at GP Community Hall at Dammuru in Kuragodu Taluk of the District.
In the beginning B. Nagaveni Devareddy filed her nomination papers for GP Presidential polls. As no one filed a nomination for the post of President against her, the returning officer V. Nirmala has announced that Nagaveni has been elected unopposed as the new President.
Speaking on the occasion, B. Nagaveni said, all the GP members will be taken into confidence and efforts will be made for the development of the village. For this, everyone’s cooperation is essential, she said.
