Ballari: ‘DC’s village-to-village programme move beneficial to farmers’

Ballari: Delivering property account rights to the doorsteps of the people through the PautiKhate movement has benefitted the common man. Revenue Minister R. Ashok said that the financial facilities available under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Yojana (PM-KISAN) should also be delivered to the account holders at the earliest.

He was speaking after distributing the account papers at a function organised as part of the ‘Deputy Commissioner’s Nade Halli Kade’ programme at Jadigenahalli in Hosakote Taluk on the morning of Sunday January 22. “In the past, it was a challenging task for farmer families to divide their assets. He said that as a result of the Deputy Commissioner’s move, village-to-village programme and pauti account movement, documents have come to the doorsteps of the people.

The Minister also distributed documents to 17 families who had applied for pauti accounts on the occasion. He also distributed the letters of account to all the 98 persons who applied for pauti account and were in the notice period.
