Ballari: Former BUDA President and Core Committee Member K. A. Ramalingappa has said that it will be difficult for the BJP if sitting MLA G. Somashekar Reddy is given a ticket for the Ballari City Constituency in the upcoming 2023 State Assembly elections.
Speaking to mediapersons at Pathrakarthara Bhavan here on Thursday November 10, he said that Former Minister G. Janardhana Reddy along with brothers’ MLAs G. Somasekhara Reddy and Karunakara Reddy have enjoyed power due to the BJP. However, Janardhana Reddy has recently made a statement against the party, saying that those who he helped to rise in the recent past are harassing him and doing injustice to him.
“In fact, injustice has been done to the Kuruba and Lingayat communities. So if G. Somasekhara Reddy is given a ticket in the elections, it will be difficult for the party to win,” he said. So he made it clear that the persons who can emerge winners should be given tickets.
