Ballari (Vijayanagara): The government will soon clarify its stand on Anjaneya’s birthplace and Anjanadri Hill of Koppal District, said Endowment Department Minister Shashikala Jolle. A meeting in this regard will be held with religious experts and historians, she added.
Speaking to mediapersons on Sunday February 20, she said that Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams’ (TTD) claim that Tirupati is Anjaneya’s birthplace us unfounded. The special meeting will be chaired by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and we would issue formal statent from the State Government, she assured.
Jolle said, there were many historical references about the Hill, and many devotees visit the Hill in everyday basis.
