Ballari: A six-year-old girl was found raped and murdered in Swamhalli village in Sandur Taluk on Thursday.
According to the police, the girl went missing on Wednesday evening and despite several efforts made by her parents to trace her, it was all in vain.
On Thursday, the girl’s body was found in the backyard of her own house by her shocked parents. Gudekote police have registered a case. Post mortem reports revealed that the girl was raped before being killed.
