Aurad boy kidnapped in Ukraine traced to Kyrgyzstan, GoK to bring him home soon

Bidar: A youth from the Aurad taluk of the Bidar district, who moved to Ukraine to study medicine, has been traced to Kyrgyzstan after he was abducted recently.

The Karnataka government is currently making preparations to bring the boy back home soon.

Ajay Kumar Rama Rao Rathod, a resident of the Hulyala village in Aurad who moved to Ukraine on December 13 to study medicine, was kidnapped by unidentified suspects on January 16. The Karnataka government had alerted the External Affairs ministry regarding the matter.

Now, the student has been found in Kyrgyzstan safe and sound.

The Karnataka government, through the Government of India, requested the Kyrgyzstan Government to send the youth back to India. The process likely to be completed in the next few days.
