Bidar: “Only the BJP is capable of taking a historic decision on the issue of reservation. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has shown commitment to fulfill the reservation demands of various communities in the State, said Union Minister of State for Fertilisers Bhagwant Khooba.
He was speaking to mediapersons here. “The Congress used Dalits and small communities only for vote bank. But now BJP Government is looking at their welfare too,” he noted.
“As per the new reservation, reservation for 2-D, Veerashaiva-Lingayat Community has been increased from 5 per cent to 7 per cent and 2-C and Vokkaliga Community from 4 per cent to 6 per cent. It’s commendable,” he said.
