Bidar: Union Minister of State for Renewable Energy and Chemicals Bhagwant Khuba participated at a Disha Committee meeting on Monday March 20.
He said, “recently, a solar park has been sanctioned for Bidar District. The District Administration has been asked to provide 2,500 acres of land required for the purpose, he said.
“The owners of the land allotted to the park will be farmers,” he added.
Further, he said, “A total of 7,242 hectares of crops have been damaged due to hailstorm in District. I have written to the Government through the Deputy Commissioner to release Rs. 785.91 Lakh as compensation and also spoke to the Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and the Principal Secretary to the Government over the phone and requested them to release the compensation at the earliest.”
