Bidar: Two farmers were struck by the lightning that occurred on Friday October 21 in the outskirts of Mudhola (K) Village of Kamalanagara Taluk.
The deceased have been identified as Kacharabai Keraba (30) and Kishan Vittal (28), residents of Chimmegaon vilylage. Archana and Keraba Ramachandra sustained burn injuries in the incident and are undergoing treatment at Aurad Public Hospital.
A sudden downpour took place while harvesting the soyabean crop in the field. After which they took shelter under a tree and at the moment lightning struck them. Thana Kushnoor Police visited the place and a case has been registered.
