Bidar: The Vijay Sankalp Yatra, which travelled across Bidar District, was attended by more people than expected, who extended their support to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Minister for Animal Husbandry and District Convener of the Yatra Prabhu B. Chavan thanked party Office-bearers, Leaders, Shakti Kendra, Maha Shakti Kendra, Mandal, District Presidents, Pramukhs, Morchas Leaders, Activists and the general public for their cooperation in making the programme a success.

In a press release, the minister stated that the Yatra led by Former Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar was flagged off by Union Home Minister Amit Shah at Basavakalyan, the karmabhoomi of Basavanna.

“The Yatra received unprecedented support in Basavakalyan, Humanabad, Bhalki, Aurad (B), Bidar North and South constituencies. I was especially mesmerised by the crowds gathered in Aurad (B) Constituency. The huge population gathered in all parts of the District has sent a message that the people are in favour of the pro-development BJP-led Government,” he said.

“With the arrival of Union Minister Amit Shah, the BJP in the District has got an elephant’s strength. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa and party State President Nalin Kumar Kateel have come to the District. Union Ministers Shobha Karandlaje, Bhagwant Khuba, Minister B. Sriramulu, Maliyya Guttedar, Siddaraju, Raghunathrao Malkapure, Shivanand Manthalkar, Baburao Chinchansur, Amarnath Patil and other senior party leaders have boosted the spirits of the workers who are working hard for the party’s growth. With the same enthusiasm, we should travel to all the booths and make people aware of the pro-people schemes of the Central and State Governments. The Minister appealed to Party Office-bearers and Workers to increase the strength of the Party at the booth level. The double engine Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Centre and Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai in the State is working in favour of the poor, farmers, and women by implementing a lot of pro-people schemes. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to win an unprecedented 151 seats in the upcoming Assembly elections in the State. Similarly, BJP candidates will win all the six seats in Bidar district. It is certain that the BJP-led Government will come back to power in the State,” he said.
