Kalaburagi: State BJP President Nalin Kumar Kateel said on Monday May 16 that the Congress party is unfit to be in opposition because of infighting, which led the party to lose elections.

“Congress is in the ICU and will perish before the coming elections. Due to the ‘severe infighting’ that has continued uninterrupted within the party and the central leadership’s incapacity to address it, the party is losing everywhere,” Kateel remarked at a meeting of Prakoshta Pramukhs in Kalaburagi. He further said that there was once a saying ‘Congress means Indira, Indira means India, Indian means Indira, Congress, on the other hand, is no longer fit to be in opposition.”

“Even though Dr. Mallikarjun Kharge served as a minister multiple times and as a Union Minister, he did not work to develop the Kalaburagi District. I t is past time for BJP leaders to work for Kalaburagi’s welfare. In addition, Congress has given the nation terrorism. All of the Prime Ministers of the Congress party have been involved in different scams and have looted the country. There were no scams under the Modi and Vajpayee administration,” he added.

Kateel also said that Siddaramaiah deserves to be in jail. ” The BJP will soon make the Kempanna committee report on Arkavati and Reedu public, following which he will spend the rest of his life in prison. DYSP Ganapathi committed suicide while Siddaramaiah was in office, and there were many scams throughout his term. These schemes were not investigated by the Siddaramaiah government,” he said.
