Kalaburagi: Heavy Police security has been deployed in view of the Shivalinga pooja of Sri Raghava Chaitanya Temple at Ladle Mashak Dargah in Alanda Town of the District.
Speaking to mediapersons near a checkpost in Alanda Taluk on Saturday February 18, District Superintendent of Police Isha Pant said that all vehicles coming from outside the area should be checked compulsorily. She said all people coming from other parts of the country too should be closely monitored.
A total of about 1,400 police personnel, 11 KSRP platoons, DR, Q&T have been deployed across Alanda Town to ensure that no untoward incident takes place, she said.
