Kalaburagi: The body of a police constable was found on the Wadi – Yadgir National Highway in the wee hours of Monday March 20.
The deceased has been identified as Kariyappa (37), a constable attached to Wadi Nagar Police Station in Chittapur Taluk. On Sunday March 19, constable Kariyappa, who was on duty near Nalawara checkpost on National Highway on Yadgir route, had gone to his house in Wadi Police Quarters in an unidentified car after completing his duty at 8.00 pm.
He was sleeping after having dinner as usual.
