Kalaburagi: R. D. Patil, the kingpin of the PSI recruitment exam, was released from Kalaburagi Central Jail late on the night of Saturday December 17. Three days ago, the Kalaburagi High Court had granted bail to brothers R. D. Patil and Mahantesh Patil.
Mahantesh was released from jail for two days. However, there are nine more cases against R. D. Patil and the lower court had warrants in connection with the case at Guvvi Police Station and CEN Police Station. For this reason R. D. Patil was not released.
Along with a copy of the high court’s bail order, his lawyer Ashok Moolage requested the JMFC Court to make a warrant recall and completed the process on Saturday December 17. Patil was released from jail late on Saturday night after completing security procedures.
