Kalaburagi: Former Minister Bandeppa Kasampur has said that if the JD (S) comes to power in the State, the loans of Stree Shakti Sanghas will be completely waived off and farmers will be given 24-hour free electricity.
Addressing a press conference at Press Club here, he said that if the voters bless him, the JD (S) will get a full majority and Kumaraswamy will take over as the Chief Minister.
“The BJP Government in the State is speaking in full swing. “When the Government is running on its own, there is no need to pat on the back on the schemes announced,” he said, adding that the Government, which has been patting on the back for having given loans worth Rs. 24,000 Crore to co-operative societies, had earlier also given such works to other governments and Rs. 14,000 Crore annually during the tenure of our Government.
“As soon as we came to power, we waived off loans of farmers worth Rs. 25,000 Crore. If we come to power, we plan to complete irrigation projects, make arrangements to impart education to people at their doorsteps and provide good health to the people by opening super specialty hospitals within the gram panchayat limits, he said and added that youth empowerment and women empowerment are also among the five gems.
On December 8, a massive rally will be organised in Afzalpur under the leadership of party candidate Shivkumar Natikar.
Former Chief Minister H D. Kumaraswamy and other party leaders will attend the convention. Around 2 lakh people are expected to attend the conclave. He expressed confidence that the JD (S) will once again return to its full strength in Kalyana Karnataka and Kalaburagi.
