Kalaburagi: The voters in my Constituency have the right to know whether I am missing or working in the Constituency, said Former Minister and Chittapura MLA Priyank Kharge. He said that the BJP has not maintained the morality to listen to it and it is BJP’s arrogance to put up posters and spread misinformation that he is missing.
Speaking to the mediapersons at his home here, he said, “I am not a man who gets bogged down by such tricks, petty games, and tricks. “True, I have not come to the Constituency for the last 50 days. He said, “I have participated in Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra and covered a distance of 511 kms. After that, I was in the election of All India Congress Committee President of Kharge Saheb. Later, I was in Delhi for three days to meet the Union Minister to press for the inclusion of Koli Kabbaligas and Kurubas in the ST category. The people of the constituency know this. There is no need to answer to the BJP where I was,” Kharge said, hitting back at the BJP’s poster campaign in Chittapura against him.
He further questioned, “Where did the BJP go during Corona? I have fought for everything from Bitcoin to the PSI scam, about hitting on 40% commission of this Government. I have also launched a ‘Pay CM’ campaign. So in return, the BJP has launched a poster campaign against me. Let them do it, he said indifferently.
