Kalaburagi: Police has cracked murder of a two-and-half-year-old child, Muzamil Ahmed occurred at Kalaburagi University premises after five months and arrested five persons, including a minor.
The arrested have been identified as Nawaz (20), Saddam (35), Haneez Sohail (22), Zaheer (23) and a minor, all residents of Kalaburgi. Muzamil Ahmed, son of Nisar Ahmed, was killed in December last year. Muzamil’s body had been found buried behind a shop with only legs above the ground.
The police said the investigation revealed that the accused had killed the child over a fallout with Nisar. The police questioned each accused separately. It was revealed that all the accused had fled from Kalaburagi after the incident but returned once they came to know that there was no evidence.
