Kalaburagi: Sri Pranavananda Swamiji of Haveri Sharanabasaveshwara Matha said that a meeting of seers from backward class mathas will be held on Wednesday March 30 with a demand to oust Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. Swamiji said that ‘Siddu Hatao’ campaign was planned as Siddaramaiah had spoken ill of dress worn by Hindu Swamijis.
Speaking to mediapersons he said that if Siddaramaiah had the courage let him use such derogatory words against the priests of other religions. Despite no Hindu seers speaking about Hijab controversy in State, Siddaramaiah has spoken against the dress code of Hindu Swamijis, he noted.
Further, Swamiji demanded the resignation of Siddaramaiah. A delegation of Swamijis will meet Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi on Saturday April 2 and appeal to oust him from the Congress party.
