Kalaburagi: Two brothers suffered serious injuries after mobile battery exploded here at Honagunta village in Chittapur district on October 14.
Nagaraj (12) and Mallu (15) are the injured.
Mallu who has suffered injuries on his eyes and Nagaraj on chest, have been shifted to a private hospital in Kalaburgi.
On October 14, the duo was trying to connect an LED bulb with Karbonn K6 mobile battery, when all of a sudden, it exploded with sparks injuring the duo. Eshappa, father of the children said that Nagaraj might lose his sight.
Dr. Sharanabasappa who is treating the children said, “We have provided first aid to the children. But Nagaraj might lose sight and the condition will be clear only after proper examination and if needed we will go ahead with operation.”
