Kalaburagi: The KKRTC Chief Traffic Manager Santosh Kumar has informed that the Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporation has suspended bus services to Maharashtra from the evening of Monday December 20, following the third instance of defacement on KKRTC buses in the last three days.
According to sources, activists from various organisations had written slogans such as “Jai Shivaji” on KKRTC buses in Maharashtra and along the Karnataka border.
“Staff and passengers on the KKRTC are afraid to travel to Maharashtra. As a result, the decision was made to suspend running buses in Maharashtra,” he said.
