Koppal: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has said that it is our idea to be a historical and religious tourist destination.
He was speaking to the mediapersons in Anegundi on Wednesday March 15. “A total of Rs. 125 Crore has been approved for the work. Work on the first phase of the project and where the land has been found has been started. A dormitory, a circumambulatory path, a shopping complex and a toilet will be constructed for the devotees to stay. The land acquisition process is underway. Soon after this, ropeways and other works will be taken up,” he said.
He said he was happy that the BJP Government had the good fortune of developing the birthplace of Lord Anjaneya.
The Chief Minister said that he would pray for the blessings and protection of all the people of India and Karnataka.
Talking about the ongoing protests to cancel the toll to use the Bengaluru – Mysuru Expressway, he said that he has spoken to the National Highways and sought details about it. This is common every time when the new the toll starts, he noted.
He said the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has been instructed to convey the issues to the people and pacify them and take action.
