Koppal: Due to incessant rains for the past one week, the houses in Gotagi Village has been flooded with sewage water, forcing people to struggle to get inside their houses. About three feet of water had accumulated in front of a house and the woman was seen struggling to get inside her house.
Zilla Panchayat (ZP) CEO Fauzia Tarunnam, who was on the sidelines of the Deputy Commissioner’s ‘Nade Halli Nade’ programme at Gotagi Village in Kushtagi Taluk of Koppal District, visited Renuka Harijan’s house, which was shaken by rain and drain water, and immediately instructed the officials to construct a drain in the area with special funds from the Zilla Panchayat and Taluk Panchayat and find a permanent solution.
Taluk EO Shivappa Subhedara, PDO Pampanna, Shankrappa Jumala and other District and Taluk Level Officials were present.
