Koppal: Sri Rama Sene Founder Pramod Muthalik said that it took 500 years to build a temple in the country.
He visited the Rama Temple in Bhagyanagara here and held a meeting of party workers on the occasion of the Babri Masjid demolition, paying floral tributes to the portrait of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar on the occasion of Parinirvan Diwas. He said, “Shaurya Diwas is being observed in the wake of the demolition of Babri Masjid.”
“There are 3000 unauthorised churches in the State. They should be cleared. The BJP has implemented an anti-conversion law in the State but the conversion has not stopped. It is not enough just to make a law. It should be properly implemented and strict action should be taken,” he said.
He added, “The Maharashtra – Karnataka border dispute is being used for the politics of the two States. Kannadigas in Belagavi and Maharashtra are like brothers. But the BJP in Karnataka and the BJP in Maharashtra are doing politics.”
