Koppal: Miscreants on the pretext of celebrating New Year’s Eve on the night of Saturday December 31 set fire to bikes and cars parked in front of their houses and smashed glass with stones in the night and a case has been registered at the City Police Station in this regard.
Bikes were set on fire and the glass panes of cars were smashed. The incident was recorded on CCTV cameras here in the middle of the night on the occasion of New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Based on a complaint lodged by City Municipality Member Vasudeva Navali, the City Police registered a case and watched the CCTV camera video footage and launched a manhunt to nab the culprits.
