Koppal: On the outskirts of Kushtagi Town, for 2 kms without the attention of the local Municipality, it has come to light that a temporary road is being constructed by a private company for wind power generation as an alternative.
This new road is a link road from Kushtagi – Hosapete four-lane National Highway (near Kargil Petrol Pump) to Sant Shishunala Sharif Colony, Kandakur Road Cross under ward 1, Sindhanur road. JCB, Hitachi, and tipper tractors were found busy in the construction of mud road on this 40-feet wide stretch.
Despite having plots, the road was constructed without bringing it to Municipality’s notice.
