Raichur: The incident took place when a cobra was spotted in a water tank (sump) of a Government High School in Budhinni S Village of Ankushadoddi Grama Panchayat in Maski Taluk of the District on Wednesday November 30.
Budhinni S School SDMC President Nagaraddappa Devaramani, and Leader Basavaraj Iligera, who came to know about the incident, brought snake catcher shanthayyaswamy from Maski, who caught hold of the Cobra in the water and rescued it.
The snake was then released into a distant forest. School Principal Kalakappa Hadimani, Teacher Aadesh Sanabala, Villager Pampanna Badigera and others were present on the occasion.
