Raichur: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) Presidential election will be held on September 16, said KPCC President D. K. Shivakumar on Monday September 12.
Speaking to mediapersons he said, “My two-year tenure has come to an end. Those who are eligible to vote must partake in the elections. The party’s High Command will decide whether or not I will run again.
“The election will be held on September 16 at 3 pm at the Ambedkar Bhavan. In addition, we are electing the AICC delegates, he added.
He also slammed the BJP and its leaders for claiming that the State Congress leaders were involved in several corruption cases.
