Raichur: Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy has challenged Siddaramaiah to form his own party and win five seats.
Addressing a press conference at Mitti Malkapura Village, he said, “I will tell Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President D. K. Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah that the JD (S) will shine in the country after this election. I will make people look back. You will lose the seat while you talk about us lightly. The more you criticise me, the more harm get. I will reach the target of 123 seats. We are confident of winning five to six seats in Raichur,” he said.
Siddaramaiah’s son’s statement that this is his last election is correct. This will be the last election if he stands in Kolar. I will release the second list of candidates from our party even before the Congress and BJP will release the first list,” he said.
