Raichur: Two persons were killed on the spot after a tipper collided with a bike near Sasalamari camp in the Taluk on Sunday December 25.
Mudiyappa (45) and Huligeppa (64), who were travelling on the bike, died on the spot. Locals protested for sometime against the police who arrived two hours late after being informed about the incident.
The protesters demanded that Railway Officials be called in in the wake of the death of two persons after a tipper assigned to Railway work ran over them.
PSI Soumya Hiremath, who reached the spot, had an argument with them. A case has been registered at the Rural Police Station in this regard.
