Raichur: As many as 33 new COVID-19 cases were reported from the state on Friday, May 22 evening, bringing the state’s tally up to 1743. Raichur alone reported 10 cases.
Earlier in the day, 105 people tested positive for the disease. This means that the state reported 138 cases today.
No deaths were reported today.
The new cases have been reported from Chikkaballapura (2), Bidar (3), Raichur (10), Bengaluru Rural (1), Vijayapura (5), Shivamogga (2), Yadgir (2), Mandya (5), and Udupi (3).
Of the 1743 cases, 41 are deaths, one is a non-COVID caused death and 597 are discharges.
