Yadgir: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Saturday March 20 said that the Government has approved Rs. 134 Crore Devatkal Lift Irrigation Project.
Speaking after launching a series of development works at Devatkal village in the District, Bommai also informed that many irrigation projects benefitting Yadagiri and Vijayapura Districts will be taken up. The irrigation facilities to 44000 acres will be provided in Yadagiri through various projects, he stressed.
CM announced that Rs. 3000 Crore will be expended to develop Kalyana Karnataka, and special grant of Rs. 1 Crore for Revenue Minister R. Ashok’s Grama Vastavya project.
He reiterated that the irrigation projects such as in Upper Krishna, Mahadayi, and Tungabhadra along with Mekedatu project will be prioritised too.
