Yadgir: Parliamentarian and BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel, on Thursday, February 20, mocked former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy dubbing him the ‘weeping CM’ of Karnataka.

Speaking to the media on Thursday, Nalin said, “When HDK was the Chief Minister of the state, he would go to every house and cry in front of the people. The tears flow with ease and as much as he wants when he assumes the chair of the CM. Hence he is the ‘weeping CM’.”

Slamming former chief minister and Opposition leader Siddaramaiah and praising Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, Nalin said, “We had two types of CMs in this state. One is HDK, who always cried when he was in the CM’s seat, and the other is Siddaramaiah, who makes others cry. But now we have a CM who responds to the tears of the people and he is none other than CM BSY.”

Meanwhile, he rubbished reports of confusions still persisting among the state BJP leaders after the Cabinet expansion.

“Some of the party leaders had met state industries minister Jagadish Shettar at his residence in Bengaluru. In the meeting, they only discussed the developmental projects. BSY should not think the other way round, as there are no confusions or unhappiness among the leaders,” he added.
