Yadgiri: One kilo gold robbed from jeweller

Yadgiri: A gold trader was carrying one kg of gold and Rs. 8.5 Lakh in his bag when he boarded a bus to go to Vijayapura after completing his business in the City. The incident took place at the Old Bus Stand of the City in the evening when a man fled after paying the money.

Vikas Jain, a jeweller from Vijayapura and he were on his way to Vijayapura after completing his gold trade at the City Bus Stand.

The police reached the spot and conducted an inspection. A case has been registered at the City Police Station in this regard. The cost of gold and cash totals upto Rs. 8.5 Lakh. The police have launched a search for the thief.
