Mangaluru: MLA Vedavyas Kamath opined that Lord Krishna was the best guide.
He spoke on Monday, August 30 at the DC office in a Krishna Jayanti programme, jointly organised by the district administration, district panchayat and the department of Kannada and culture.
Amid the pandemic, the Krishna Jayanthi was celebrated in a simple manner. MLA Vedavyas Kamath, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rajendra KV and other dignitaries offered floral tribute to Lord Krishna’s portrait.
MCC Mayor Premanand Shetty, Former MLA Padmanabh Bhandari, Madhusudan, president of Yadava Sabha Karnataka Central Committee, P.R. Kumaraswamy the president of the Golla (Yadava) Association were present.
