Chikkamagaluru: BJP worker assualted by Cong workers for leaving party

Chikkamagaluru: A Congress worker, who had quit the Congress and joined the BJP, was brutally assaulted by Congress workers near Ravur Village near Nagalapura in N. R. Pura Taluk of the District on Wednesday February 1.

Shivu, a BJP worker from Ravur Village, was the activist who was brutally assaulted.

The followers of Congress MLA T. D. Rajegowda barged into Shivu’s house and assaulted him after he left the Congress and joined the BJP.

The injured Shivu has been admitted to N. R. Pura Government Hospital and is undergoing treatment.
