Chikkamagaluru: The Bharatiya Kisan Sangh(BKU) karnataka pradesh taluk unit has submitted a memorandum to the MESCOM office in chikkamagaluru demanding action against the local MESCOM authorities for not providing proper electricity to Basaravalli and Kelagane villages in chikkamagaluru taluk for agricultural activities and other works.
In a memorandum submitted to MESCOM Executive Engineer G Maruthi, Taluk Unit Secretary K E Punesh complained that the local KEB officials were not providing electricity in these two villages.
Basaravalli Grama Panchayath There is a TC nearby. About 30 houses have been connected to 8 HP. But if the new connection is asked for 3 HP, sabu is saying that it is overloaded and that TC is getting 4 HP increased. Mescom officials here provide connectivity through cables without pillars in the area. He said around 50 houses have been connected through around 5 to 10 pump sets in 25 TCs elsewhere.
Similarly, due to the connectivity of 10 to 15 borewells and 40 houses in the 25 KV TC at Kelagane Baramane, there are minor accidents for the workers and farmers on the line inside the garden. He urged them to avoid any mishaps in the coming days.
