Chikkamagaluru: ‘Government imposes ash smeared guarantees’

Chikkamagaluru: Even though the Congress-led state government has implemented the five pre-poll guarantees. By imposing conditions at various levels, it has thrown a shadow on the people of the state. BJP district spokesperson and CMC member T by saying that it will not impose a condition, it has now proved that it is a corrupt government.

Addressing a press conference here, He said before the elections, Congress leaders had said that 200 units of free electricity would be provided to every household under the Griha Jyoti Yojana. Now that the 1-year average will be taken, they say and cheated the people by making the condition that the number of units of electricity consumed by those who use it is free.

Graduate unemployed get Rs 1,500-3000 per month. He had promised to give it. After the government came to power, it had imposed a condition that it would be only for young men and women who passed in the year 2022-2023.

Those who passed out in 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 had voted for the Congress party thinking that we too would get this unemployment allowance. He complained that this condition has now been unfair to the unemployed graduates who passed.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has not clarified how resources will be mobilized for guaranteed schemes. He urged the state government to issue a white paper to the people of the state in this regard. There are reports that the government is trying to consolidate revenue by increasing the prices of petrol, diesel and liquor, by increasing the printing fee, by increasing the police department’s gross collection, land revenues, etc. He warned that if not, the BJP would launch protests across the state.

On the occasion of World Environment Day, the BJP Yuva Morcha has organised an electric vehicle Marathon on major roads in Chikkamagaluru city to protect the environment and create awareness among the public about electric vehicles. Yuva Morcha district president Santosh Kotian said the drive to plant saplings in the BJP office premises will be launched. BJP city president Madhukumar Raj Urs and others were present on the occasion.
