Chikkamagaluru: Two persons who were stuck in their car as it was being washed away by an overflowing stream were dragged out to safety in a dramatic rescue that was caught on camera.
The incident was reported on Tuesday August 10 from a village close to Sakharayapatna in the district, and the incident’s video has since gone viral.
Roads, paddy fields, and streams have all been flooded in the district as a result of the 15 days of torrential rain. According to sources, a few locals noticed a car being swept away. They latched onto it and tied it with a rope to an earthmover. One of the locals used a metal object to smash the car’s glass and pulled out the duo.
