Chikkamagaluru: “It took 500 years of struggle for the birthplace of Lord Rama to be established. In the same way, you are taking the fight of Dattapeetha for another 500 years. Sri Rama Sene Chief Pramod Muthalik said, “C. T Ravi ji, you should be ashamed.”
He was speaking at a massive Shobha Yatra in the City. ‘The dispute over the Dattapeetha can be resolved while the BJP is in power. The court said that Hindu priests should be appointed and a solution be found. Priests could have been appointed within 24 hours of the court’s order. What would you anyone loose if the puja had begun. C.T. Ravi ji, you were saying that you will bring a stay order. What happened?,” he questioned.
“Can’t we sit with the Muslims and resolve the issue amicably. It takes courage, and also willpower to solve. You are playing a political drama. But we will fight for Dattapeetha till our last breath,” Muthalik said.
