Chikkamagaluru: In an unfortunate accident that occurred on the night of Tuesday September 6, a tractor that was returning after the Ganapati Visarjan, one of its decoration stands reportedly was hit by electrical wiring resulting in the deaths of three people at Banakal in Mudigere Taluk here.
The deceased have been identified as Raju (45), Rachana (22), and Parvati (28). The remaining six people were admitted to the Mudigere hospital in a critical condition. Two among them were transported to a hospital in Hassan.
A case has been registered in this regard at the Banakal Police Station.
