Chikkamagalur: King of fruits-Mango normally invades fruit markets during the months of May and June whereas flowering occurs 2-3 months in advance during February and March.
Nature too springs surprises in a way or the other and manifests wonders which are beyond human understanding.
In one such instance a mango tree in the residential compound of Varija in town has started yielding fruits in the month of December. All neighbours and others known to Varija family are awestruck by this development and are indeed happy.
Flowering occurs more than once in a year in some cases only to wither away and the seasonal yield reach market stands in summer months.
Unseasonal crop has thrown lot of questions with no answers in sight, but then who can understand what nature has in store?
