Hassan: The video of an incident which took place on Friday September 10 during the immersion ceremony of the Ganesha idol at Sakleshpur has gone viral on social media. In the video, a police sub-inspector (SI) is being manhandled by few people reportedly after he asked them to follow the Covid protocols issued for the Ganesha festival.
According to reports, the group, allegedly Sangh Parivar activists were not following the protocols issued by the government by participating in the procession, dancing without wearing masks, or maintaining social distance.
The group allegedly argued and manhandled SI Basavaraj Chincholli when he asked them to follow the protocols.
