Hassan: Everyone wishes to build their own dream house in life, and most fulfill their dream through hardwork of years. But when they hear their dream house would be demolished by authorities they would be definitely shocked. But here is a family in Kallangere Village of Arasikere Taluk in Hassan District which succeded in shifting their house through modern technology, and thus saved their dream house.
Adavishappa, a resident of Kallangere Village owns a house in his estate measuring 1200 square feet. He constructed a house by spending more than Rs. 30 lakh in the year 2017 after struggling many
years. Six months back NHAI authorities issued a notice to Adavishappa that his house and land is required for constructinb bypass road to NH – 209. Initially Adavishappa shocked by the notice, and was worried about losing his house despite compensation offered. He even prepared to demolish the house, and also engaged the labourers to remove doors and windows to construct new house.
At the time, someone told him about a person who shifted his house in Shivamogga through a new technology. As a last chance he contacted Sri Ram Building Lifting Company in Kurukshetra of Haryana. The company officials visited the spot and estimated the cost of shifting. The cost of Rs. 12 lakh was agreed by Adavishappa and work started.bNow the house has been lifted and shifted to a distance of 30 feet, successfully.
Adavishappa said that the modern house shifting technology saved his dream house. Though he lost Rs. 12 lakh for shifting, he saved a lot of time and money that would go in construction of new house. Hundreds of villagers have been visiting Adavishappa’s house to have a view.
