Hassan: Hassan MLA J. Pritam Gowda said that he would resign from the post of legislator if his father had worked in Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) for even a day.
Speaking to mediapersons on Tuesday November 1, he was reacting to the allegations made against him by JD (S) Leader Bhavani Revanna that Pritam Gowda’s father came to Former Prime Minister H. D. Devegowda’s house to get a job in BBMP. He said that Bhavani and Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna both speak as if under influence of alcohol. He said that Bhavani should introspect about her financial status before becoming H. D. Devegowda’s daughter-in-law.
He said that the entire District’s people know about our family. I don’t need to say anything more about this, he said.
“My father and mother have taught me culture. He said that hundreds of job aspirants visit legislators to get jobs. The employer provides a job to anybody based on their ability and qualification, and the recommendations come next.” He said that H. D. Revanna would face defeat by 50000 votes in the next Assembly election due to his behaviour. He appealed to the Government Officers not to approach H. D. Devegowda’s family for any kind of postings and transfers. If you avail any help from them they would tell in future that they are the reason for their livelihood.
